i had an eye-opening moment this week. 

i’m presenting my workshop, StoryEngine: How To Find Your Story With AI, to the World of Women Creator Committee (Web3).

as an early community member of the project, it felt perfectly full circle. everything was going well. head nods, emojis – the works. 

it felt like my message was hitting home. 

but as i wrapped, a timid hand raised and a hesitant creator bravely admitted,

"honestly, most of this went over my head."

f*ck. it hit me. 

i normally start with a check-in—asking how familiar the audience is with AI. but i forgot.

and as a result, at least one person was lost in the tech jargon bullsh*t of my presentation.

who cares though, right? it’s just one person.

we’ve all sat through talks that flew over our heads. questioning why we were wasting our time and, frankly, feeling stupid.

i promised to never be that person.

instead, i aim to be the speaker that has you walking away saying, “i actually understand it now!”

yet, here I was. sigh.

that experience got me thinking...

am I doing the same with all of you beautiful humans? 

i’ve never checked in with you to see where you’re at on the AI comfort scale (that’s not a real thing…but you get it 😉)

and if i'm seeing the power of AI to support you as you build your personal brand, it’s pretty f*cking essential i know where you’re at in your journey.

so, let's do that today and go back to basics. 

no tech jargon, no bullsh*t. 

just AI. plain and simple.
