Your Value is Immense

believe it, embrace it, share it... unapologetically.

in edition #008 of INTENTIONAL. Creatives we’re talking…

1 tip: sharing your value unapologetically | 2 tools: Kleo + AICarousels | 3 takes: from Greg Isenberg, Codie Sanchez, and yours truly

let’s get into it.

1 tip

November 2021, right in the thick of covid, i worked HARD to sell my wife on the idea of a Peloton.

  • we couldn’t use our existing gym memberships

  • we could buy it through a plan (0% interest)

  • we could do this workout together

i was desperate for something that would make our 700 sq. ft. apartment (with a toddler and dog) feel bearable.

she caved. it came. i got hooked (ADHD went to work!)

instructor, Robin Arzón, became my go-to with her:

  • vibe + realness

  • 90s Hip Hop music

  • story (from lawyer to head Peloton instructor…well, damn)

fast forward to early 2023, and i heard she was diving into Web3 with her husband, Drew Butler, to start a community called Swagger Society.

so i jumped in.

  • sharing insights on Web3

  • engaging in their community

  • adding value, wherever i could

i simply wanted to show my appreciation for the value Robin had given me over these last few years.

within just a few months, i’d done an Instagram live with Robin, met Drew, and was having frequent calls to chat about branding, marketing, copywriting and more.

somehow i stumbled into becoming an unofficial advisor.

recently wifey and I travelled to NYC as invited guests to Swagger Society’s inaugural event.

during the intimate, full day of activities (in a massive tower overlooking the Hudson) i met some kicka*s folks, explored business opportunities, and even got some personal advice from Robin herself.

while we rode the subway back to our spot in Brooklyn, wifey turned to me and said:

"from your fav Peloton instructor to this. wild, right?"

completely f*cking wild.

my journey from fan to unofficial advisor for her Web3 company wasn't just about being in the right place at the right time. it was about being clear on my personal narrative and brand so every interaction and every engagement was intentional and true to me.

knowing my story and my value helps me overcome any fear i might have about sharing it.

so, as you head into this week, take this 1 tip with you…

don’t underestimate your value. it’s immense.

believe it. embrace it. and share it unapologetically with whoever will benefit from it.

because when you do, you’ll open doors you never even knew existed.

2 tools

tool 1: kleo.so

description: your sneaky sidekick for LinkedIn. a free browser extension from creator, Jack Ward, lets you snoop on the best content out there.

how it helps:

  • see any creator’s top hits

  • filter to find the goods faster

  • discover posts that are hitting

  • search and find specific content

  • swipe + save “damn, i wish i wrote that” posts

what it costs: nothing (for now). just install it and get to work with it on LinkedIn.

description: whether you’re on LinkedIn, IG or TikTok - carousels are winning. if designing isn’t your thing or Canva is f*cking overwhelming, give this tool a try for pre-designed (functional) templates.

 how it helps:

  • no sign-up bullsh*t, just get it

  • AI-powered content suggestions (oh, hell yes!)

  • fast route to get this content type in your rotation

  • templates ready to roll for LinkedIn, IG, and TikTok

what it costs: freemium. if you wanna go pro, it'll run you $14.95/month.

note: these are not sponsored or affiliate recommendations. just tech i try, like, and/or use.

3 takes

1) Greg Isenberg: is laser-focused on helping folks build by prioritizing community and saying, “no thanks” to VC. check out his frameworks here.

2) Codie Sanchez: living that “build once, sell twice” life. TLDR; take the questions your community asks frequently and build a product around them. check it out here.

3) ME: reminding you that life doesn’t always go as planned, and that’s okay. here.

that’s all beautiful humans.

keep pushing and remember…you got this 💪🏻

see you next week,

kristina.

P.P.S.

  • i’m Canadian. there will be extra “u”s, double “i”s, and more. this is not a mistake. it’s willful.

  • i’m Queer. a mother, a wife, and an advocate for equity of all people, not just Queer folks. openly, and without filter, sharing my personal narrative means being authentically me.
